I have been in the financial services industry for over 20 years.  I started with Aetna and have stayed with my clients through the change of Aetna to ING and then eventually to Voya.  I have worked closely with public school and healthcare employees during my 20 plus years, to assist in coordinating retirement planning through 403(b), 457(b), 401(k)’s, and employee pension plans.  

I currently hold the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations.  I am an Investment Adviser Representative with Voya Financial Advisors and also hold Life, Variable Annuity and Health insurance licenses in several states.

With the exception of several years out of state for a military obligation, I have been a lifelong resident of Minnesota.  I was actively involved in the MN National Guard until my retirement in 2006.  I currently reside in Shakopee, Minnesota with my wife Lia, two dogs, and four children (three of which are attending college).  I enjoy taking advantage of all the outdoor activities Minnesota has to offer.

I am a lifelong resident of Minnesota, growing up in Richfield. I spend much of my time outdoors, biking, running, hiking, golfing, hunting and fishing. I currently resides in Lakeville, with my wife Renee and my dog Kevin.

I've been a financial advisor at Voya Financial Advisors since 2015, with a background in the mortgage industry before that. I was born and raised in the Twin Cities and have spent the majority of my life here, except for a brief stint as a Badger during my years at UW-Madison where I earned a Bachelor's in Economics.

During my time here at Voya, I've helped numerous individuals and families achieve their short- and long-term financial goals. I especially like to take the time to do a deep dive into my clients' plans to make sure that we're not only meeting their needs, but also helping to protect and optimize everything they've worked so hard for. While I focus on working with government and education workers in coordinating their unique retirement benefits, I work with clients in all walks of life and believe everyone can benefit from holistic financial planning. 

In my free time, I spend as much time as possible out on the water with my husband, daughter, and our beagle. When we're not out on the lake, we love exploring all the cities have to offer for museums, festivals, and musicals.

A Wisconsin native, I earned a double major in Personal Finance and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Go Badgers!  I joined the team with Voya Financial Advisors in 2018 and have loved working with our diverse client base all over the state.

When I'm not at my desk, you can find me exploring the Twin Cities with my pup Piper. As our team's unofficial mascot, she will likely greet you at the door if you come into the office for a meeting. Like any good Midwesterner, I enjoy as much of the summer as I can up north at our cabin on Lake Superior hosting friends and spending time on the water. In the winter catch me tackling a renovation project on my 120-year-old home and watching a lot of Hockey. Go Wild!

I joined the team in June of 2022 after transitioning out of our local school district after 15 years. My background in education has helped in assisting and getting to know our wonderful clients. I support the team by managing day to day activities in the office and keeping our advisors on track.

My free time is spent keeping up with our four grown children and entertaining friends at our cabin in northern Minnesota. When I am not at the cabin, you can often find me on the Pickleball courts.
